Shorter days and cooler temperatures may keep you out of the pool. Keep abreast of your pool care by simply following these easy steps to keep your pool clear and sparkling.
- Clear weir and pump baskets every 2 weeks to ensure that the pump system and automatic pool cleaner can operate optimally.
- Filtering hours can be reduced to half the time required during peak summer. Fill up your pool – less rainfall during winter months may require the pool to be topped up periodically. Click here for more info.
- Always ensure that the water level covers the weir to prevent damage to the pump equipment.
- Keep testing the pool water at least every 2 weeks to ensure that all parameters are balanced within the recommended ranges.
- Maintain the free chlorine level between 1 – 3 ppm to keep algae at bay.
