Increase or Decrease TA
To increase Total Alkalinity (TA)
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
(Based on a 50 000l pool)
Use only as directed.
Use only as directed.
NB: 1kg of HTH® Alkalinity Up should raise the TA by approximately 10ppm.
01 | To prevent possible staining from metals that may be present in your water,
add 1 bottle of HTH® Metal Remover in accordance with label instructions.
02 | With the pump off, add 1kg of HTH® Alkalinity Up to one spot in the deep end of the pool.
03 | Leave the pump off for 15 minutes.
04 | Switch the pump on and continue with normal filtration.
05 | After 12 hours, check the TA level.
06 | | If necessary, repeat until the ideal range is reached.

NB: Never add more than 500g of HTH® Dry Acid at any one time.
01 | Switch the pump off.
02 | Add 500g of HTH® Dry Acid into one spot in the deep end of the pool.
03 | Leave the pump off for 15 minutes.
04 | Switch the pump on and continue with normal filtration.
05 | Check the TA level after 12 hours.
06 | If necessary, repeat until the ideal range is reached
